699: 名無しさん＠英語勉強中 (ﾜｯﾁｮｲ bf30-7TcO) [] 2024/09/07(土) 17:11:33.90 ID:UrYCQMhe0 1 He is out in the garden. 2 He is in the garden. 3 The cat jumped up onto the table. 4 The cat jumped onto the table. 先ず intransitive preposition で漠然と位置や方向を示して、 次に transitive preposition + 補部 で具体的な位置や方向を示すという 「位置や方向の二段階指定」†は日本語にはない発想らしいから、 英語に慣れないと感覚を摑むのは難しいのかもしれない。 † 「位置の二段階指定」は『実例が語る前置詞』の第一章で出てくる用語。 件の文は off で先ず漠然と乖離を示して、 次に from 以下で具体的な起点をを示している。 因みに He is leaving [the town(i) [he lives in __(i)]] for Tokyo. においては the town he lives in は一つの名詞句を形成し、 「内外断絶の法則」‡により、for Tokyo と in は全く関係がない。 つまり、the town he lives in は leave A for B の A に当たる部分だ。 そして、for Tokyo は leave (leaving) によって認可される補部である。 ‡ 「内外断絶の法則」は薬袋尊師のリー教で出てくる用語。 この用語が気になるのであれば、すぐにリー教に入信しよう！ http://lavender.5ch.net/test/read.cgi/english/1716304866/699
