本来はもちろん、the place where S V とか the house where he lives とかいうふうに、
where ははっきりと場所を表す言葉でしたが、今回のように、その働きや意味合いが
ゆるくなって、何となくぼんやりした意味合いになったのだと思えばいいのです。
