解説
Vブレーキは本来は左のブレーキレバーでフロントブレーキを引く「左前」のほうが自然なケーブルの流れになる。
しかし英国や日本では逆の「右前」のケーブル取り回しが一般的。
これは英国メーカーの自転車なのでケーブル取り回しを自然にするために、このようにブレーキ台座をフォークレッグの後ろ側にしているわけ。
The Raven is actually designed for the U.K. market, and that's a good thing for me, because it means the cable runs are optimized for right front/left rear brake setup, which is my preferred arrangement. One of the strangest aspects of this is that the cantilever studs are mounted on the back of the front fork! This would cause problems if I ran my front brake from the left lever, as is usual in the U.S. but it works fine with the cable coming from the right.

競輪選手が自走して来るのを輪行と呼んでいた。
それが自転車を分解して袋に詰めて列車に持ちこむ輪行の語源となった。
