Operation Twist
The twist operation means operation to purchase a long-term bond, and sells off a short-term bond.
This shortens the average expiration of a term of the bond with the portfolio of the central bank.
For example, by a period of time, the central bank purchases the long-term bond of a certain sum.
At the same time, sells off short-term bond less than half of the long-term bond with an equal sum with the forehead which purchased a long-term bond.
This operation has a purpose to let a long-term interest rate fall while raising a short-term interest rate.
By this operation, short-term prices rise, and long-term prices will fall.
If short-term prices rise, speed of the short-term economy will become fast.
Moreover, speed of long-term economy will become slow if long-term prices fall.

日本時間の２４日未明から同日朝に当たる。
ＮＡＳＡは、この時間帯には北米上空は通過しないとしている。
落下予想地域は日本を含む北緯５７度から南緯５７度の広い範囲。
ＣＮＮテレビによると、ＮＡＳＡは大気圏突入後、数分で破片が地球に到達すると予測している。
大気圏突入後に、分解した衛星の破片のうち２６個（計５３２キロ）が長さ約８００キロにわたって帯状に落下すると予測。
破片は燃料タンクに使用されているチタニウムなどで、重さは大きい物で約１６０キロ。

この結果が正しければ、宇宙の成り立ちをめぐる定説を覆すことになり、タイムマシンや異次元の存在も可能になるという。
欧州合同原子核研究所（ＣＥＲＮ）によると、ジュネーブ近郊のＣＥＲＮから発射したニュートリノを７３０キロ離れたイタリアの研究所でとらえる実験を３年以上にわたり１万５０００回実施。
