福島で「嚢胞」と通知されている大部分が「シコリ」である疑いが出てきました。
福島医大は

「少しでも嚢胞の中にシコリが含まれればシコリにカウントしている。福島の嚢胞にはシコリは全く含まれていない（１００％良性だ）」

と説明していますが、以下概説では「純粋な嚢胞は滅多にありえない。通常はシコリと嚢胞は混合している」
としています。
