メンタリティの部分は別にそれでいいと思うよ
ただそれを語る上でぐだった部分だけを取り上げて語られると違和感しかない
逆に錦織が取るべき所を取りきった試合や厳しい局面で自分を信じてひっくり返した試合もいくらでもある
インタの雰囲気から察するにそういった経験をもっと積めば優勝に近付けるというニュアンスで語ってるんじゃないかと思うよ
あとフィジカルに関しても全試合フルでやるつもりで準備が必要って感じの言い方をしてる
弱フィジカルでどうにもならんとか言ってたらそれこそ勝者のメンタリティに欠けるわな

M.チャンはファイティングスピリットだけでなく、ツアーの流れや試合の組み立てなどを
自身で深いところまで考える頭脳派でもあったから良いコーチになりえた。
しかしよく考えてみたら、途中でブラッド・ギルバートという名コーチに短期間
教えてもらったとはいえ、チャンを呼ぶまでほぼ二人三脚でやってきてこの素材を
世界11位までもってきたダンテはすごいなぁ・・。
テニスのコーチングは相性もあるから、まったく異なる国籍なのによほど錦織くんと
合うんだろうなっていうのを改めて感じます。
